Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, through her official social media, announced the launch of her own book. She will be publishing the book anywhere between September to November.
Pia Wurtzbach first mentioned that she would like to write her own book in 2017 as she wanted to follow in the footsteps of her pageant mentor, Jonas Gaffud, who released ‘The Crown: Your Essential Guide to Becoming a Beauty Queen.’ Two years later, Pia joined ABS-CBN Books' roster of celebrity authors.
Then, Pia also started working on her book, which she said at the time will share a story of a girl who joins a beauty pageant. “It's not my life story, but it's based on my experiences and stories that I've heard and seen from other girls who have also joined," she quoted.
Pia Wurtzbach represented the Philippines at the 64th Miss Universe which was held on 20th December 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The edition got famous host Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Colombia’s Ariadna Gutiérrez as the winner instead of Pia.
