The multi-talented personality has recently confirmed to star in a superhero movie as an actress.
The movie will be directed by multi-awarded Joyce E. Bernal. Pia said, “As of now, we’re still working on the details of the characters but definitely it’s a superhero movie.” She will make her debut as an actress with Vice Ganda and ‘La Luna Sangre’ star Daniel Padilla.
“I’m so excited about that. This is going to be the first time I’m acting in a movie after many years but Vice assured me that he will take care of me and guide me so I think I’m in safe hands,” the beauty said.
As an actress, Pia started her career as one of the talents of Star Magic and cast members of the teen-oriented program ‘K2BU’ in the year 2002. She starred in movies like “Kung Ako na Lang Sana”, “All My Life” and “All About Love (2006).”
Talking about her recent project was in ‘Maalala Mo Kaya’ wherein one of the episodes showcased the hardship she went through before entering into the pageant world. Her new movie, ‘The Revengers’ is also an entry for the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Well, the fans and pageant fanatics will be eagerly waiting to watch the beauty queen in the movie. For now, they just have to wait a little to get to watch the sizzling Pia Wurtzbach on the big screen.
