The Miss Universe organization did not hold back from wishing their reigning queen and took to their official social media account to write, "Happy Birthday to our newly crowned queen, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray! We are looking forward to an amazing and impactful year with you. Wish the reigning queen a happy birthday!" It will indeed be an impactful year with Catriona’s advocacy.

Catriona was crowned Miss Universe 2018 on 17th December 2018 in Thailand, Bangkok. It has been a few weeks since her crowning and she has already been garnering a lot of attention and respect due to her dedication to her community and her advocacy. She added to the post, unable to control her excitement about starting her duties as the new universal queen, “Tomorrow my Miss universe duties officially start with the beginning of media week!
