Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has always surprised her fans and the people who have always praised her for her talent and humbleness. Aside from being a beauty queen and a very smart and dedicated woman, Catriona is also known for her talent in singing. She has been vocal about her love for music and she even took a course in line with this.

To everyone’s surprise Catriona Gray returned to “ASAP Natin ‘To” stage on 8th March 2020 for a duet performance with Martin Nievera. The duo sang Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow” from the movie ‘A Star is Born’; which was appreciated by the audience as well as the fans on social media.  Nievera’s refined voice added gravity to the song, while Gray exhibited her powerful vocals in the solo parts.

“I am used to walking on stage, talking on stage but when it comes to singing, I haven’t had that much experience pa so it gives me a little bit of nerves pa. But I feel that the more that I do it, the better I will become to being on stage and performing. I really welcome the opportunities to learn and to grow. I am very thankful to have had these opportunities so far this year”, the diva expressed.

After the performance, the diva shared a clip of her duet with Martin Nivera on her social media with a beautiful message stating, “Such an honor to share the stage in a duet with Sir Martin Nivera! Thank you for the advice and for helping me calm my nerves!”

Martin Nievera also praised the beauty queen’s singing talent and mentioned, “It was an absolute pleasure and an honor to share the stage with you. You are not just another pretty face that can sing. You are beautiful, dahhhhhh!”

The singer went onto praise the former Miss Universe by mentioning that she has beautiful voice just like a singer who has been singing for years in big or small venues. He urged Catriona to keep singing because she is not confident with her singing yet but that's the voice, that's the technique, and the quality of the voice, that's it. Martin mentioned that she has a bright career in the field of singing if she keeps practicing.

Since leaving her Miss Universe duties last December, Catriona Gray has been determined in pursuing her music career. Besides performing on “ASAP,” she joined “It’s Showtime” as a co-host in January. She is now under the management of Cornerstone Entertainment.

Guess the former Miss Universe 2018 can ace anything she wants to.
