The coronation night of the international pageant of Miss Universe 2018 was one of the major pageants which created a huge hype in millions of heads and the last couple of minutes before the result declaration made a count on the breath-taking moment for almost everyone.
Catriona Gray and South Africa’s Tamryn Green were the Top two candidates out of all, who went on having a neck-to-neck competition in the finale, where both of them stood straight hand-in-hand while mumbling something to each other.
The beautiful Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray recently appeared in her homecoming press conference, where she finally revealed about what both the beauty queens, Catriona and Tamaryn spoke to each other while standing together, right before the result was announced.
Catriona shared about that moment in the press where she spoke, “Just to describe that moment: It's really crazy. You can imagine that all these months, girls prepared, and now the competition comes down to that one moment where there's the Top 2. And you kind of get locked up into your own world. The spotlight comes on and it's almost like it's just me and Tamaryn, which is Miss South Africa. My mom even asked me why I was twiddling thumbs! I don't know, it's just a comforting thing?"
"Anyway. I was saying to her, 'I'm so happy to be here with you. I know you'll do amazing whatever happens.' And she said, 'You too, babe. You too.'"
The moment definitely defines the strength of the bond that the beauties share with each other and we wish that their bond remain the same forever.
