Miss Universe 2018 to be assessed by a strong all female panel of judges

Miss Universe 2018 is all set to host its grand coronation night in just a few days and for the first time ever there is an all-female panel of the jury who will be crowned this year’s queen. Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will crown her successor at the end of the finale which will be held on 17th December 2018.

The women on the panel comprised of entrepreneurs, business leaders and industry experts. The groundbreaking change to this year's Miss Universe competition comes amidst a post-MeToo movement in other pageants as well. Here are the gorgeous women who will be on the selection committee –

Bui Simon - Miss Universe 1988 Bui Simon is the founder of Angel Wings Foundation, which sees to the needs of Thailand’s young and vulnerable citizens with increased educational opportunities.

Monique Lhuillier - The gorgeous Filipina-American world renowned bridal and fashion designer, Monique has creations worn by celebrated women including first ladies of the United States for more than two decades. She is also a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Janaye Ingram – Janaye is a Corporate executive, political grassroots organizer and founder of Women’s March, Inc. The gorgeous beauty was also the 2017 Glamour Magazine Women of the Year along with her fellow Women’s March organizers. Janaye was also crowned Miss New Jersey USA 2004.

Michelle McLean – Michelle was crowned Miss Universe 1992 and is now an internationally recognized model and television presenter. She is also the Chairperson of the Michelle McLean Children Trust and Founding partner of the Business of Beauty.

Iman Oubou – Iman is a Moroccan-American entrepreneur, a former pageant titleholder and founder of women’s digital platform Swaay Media. Iman is a published scientist recently named as one of CIO Magazine’s 2018 ‘Female Entrepreneur’s to Watch’ and awarded the first ever “Visage Du Maroc” of 2018, a new initiative uplifting female voices in Morocco and across the Middle East.

Lili Gil Valletta – Lili is an Award-winning entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of CulturIntel and CIEN+. She is a TV business commentator and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader. With the titles of O.S. Hispanic Businessperson of the Year and 2018 Women of Excellence Award among others, Lili is one of the most accomplished women.

Richelle Singson-Michael – Richelle is the CEO of Platinum Skies Aviation and FinTech Casha.me and a pioneering architect and Vice Chairwoman of the LCS Group of Companies, which led and oversaw the successful hosting of the 65th Miss Universe in the Philippines.
