Cross-over delegates at Miss Universe 2020

Miss Universe 2020, the 69th edition of Miss Universe, is all set to be held on 16th May 2021 in Florida, United States where more than seventy stunning ladies will compete for the coveted crown. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

While the delegates competing for the crown have begun to prepare for their national stint, this year’s batch boasts of stunning beauties with a lot of experience. Having prior experience at international stages gives a special boost to the divas who are competing at one of the ‘Big Four’ pageants of the world, Miss Universe. This year’s Miss Universe edition has numerous cross-over delegates who have previously represented their countries at international pageants. So, without any further ado, let’s take a look at these veteran delegates at Miss Universe 2020 –

Alina Luz Akselrad, Miss Universe Argentina 2020

In 2018, Akselrad was crowned Miss Tourism Ambassador America in Thailand. In the same year, she represented Argentina at World Miss Tourism Ambassador where she was unplaced.

 

 

Dhenia Covens, Miss Universe Belgium 2020

Dhenia was adjudged as the second runner up at Miss Belgium 2018 and later represented the country at Miss Supranational 2018.  She competed in Miss Tourism International 2014 and Miss United Continents in 2015 as well.

 

 

Iris Salguero, Miss Universe Belize 2020

Iris has proudly represented Belize at three international pageants including Miss World 2016, Miss America Latina del Mundo 2018, and Miss Earth 2017.

 

 

Julia Gama, Miss Universe Brazil 2020

Angèle Kossinda, Miss Universe Cameroon 2020

Angèle has previously competed in Miss Earth 2017 where she was placed at Top 16 at the end of the event finale, later represented the country at Miss International 2019 and Miss Supranational 2019 where she was highly appreciated for her performance.

 

 

Kla´ra Vavruskova´, Miss Universe Czech Republic 2020

Klara was crowned Czech-Slovak Miss 2019 and represented the Czech Republic at Miss Earth 2019 where she was crowned Miss Earth Water 2019.

 

 

Viivi Altonen, Miss Universe Finland 2020

Viivi began her career in 2014 where she was a part of Supermodel International 2014. With her incredible performance, Viivi placed as the third runner-up at the end of the event finale. She was later, in 2019, appointed Miss Supranational Finland 2019 and represented her country at Miss Supranational 2019.

 

 

Eden Berandoive, Miss Universe Haiti 2020

Eden comes from representing her nation in the Miss Panamerican 2019, where she was part of the Top 8.

 

 

Ayu Maulida, Miss Universe Indonesia 2020

The stunning beauty also holds the title of 2019 Asia Model Festival and Face of Asia 2019.

 

 

Nadia Sayers, Miss Universe Ireland 2020

Nadia was Miss Earth Water Northern Ireland 2017 and Miss Intercontinental Ireland 2017-2018. She also competed at Miss Universe Ireland 2019 and finished in the Top 10.

 

 

Anthea Zammit, Miss Universe Malta 2020

Anthea represented Malta at Miss World 2016 and later at Miss Supranational 2017. She was placed as the second runner-up in the Sports Challenge and placed in the Top 10 in the Talent competition at Miss World 2016.

 

 

Carmen Isabel Jaramillo, Miss Universe Panama 2020

In 2015, Carmen was crowned Miss Earth Panama 2015 and as a part of her training she represented Panama in Reina Hispanoamericana 2015 as well. She placed in the Top 9 at the end of the event finale. After that, she represented Panama in Miss Earth 2015 where she gave another brilliant performance.

 

 

Janick Maceta, Miss Universe Peru 2020

Janick has represented Peru at Miss Tourism World 2018 which was held in Malaysia and later represented Peru at Miss Supranational 2019 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up.

 

 

Bianca Lorena Tirisin, Miss Universe Romania 2020

The diva has made history as the first woman to represent Romania in three major international beauty pageants; she represented Romania at Miss Supranational 2017 where she was adjudged as the second runner-up and then at Miss International 2018 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up.

 

 

Alina Sanko, Miss Universe Russia 2020

Alina represented Azov at Miss Russia 2019. Alina was given the opportunity to represent Russia in both Miss World 2019 and Miss Universe 2019, however, due to conflicting dates she only competed in Miss World. At Miss World 2019, Alina competed with absolute grace and finished in Top 12.

 

 

Bernadette Belle Ong, Miss Universe Singapore 2020

Belle was a participant at Miss Universe Singapore 2019 and she ended up being crowned as Miss Charm Singapore 2019 which earned her the opportunity to represent Singapore at Miss Charm International 2019.

 

 

Natasha Joubert, Miss Universe South Africa 2020

Natasha competed in Miss Globe 2016 where she represented her country with absolute sincerity and dedication. With her exemplary performance, Natasha was adjudged the fourth runner-up at the end of the event finale.

 

 

Amanda Obdam, Miss Universe Thailand 2020
