The 69th edition of Miss Universe i.e., Miss Universe 2020 is all set to be held on 16th May 2021 (17th May 2021 in Manila) at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, the United States where almost seventy-four gorgeous divas from across the world will be competing for the crown. Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Ziad Nakad, the Lebanese designer who dazzled the crowd with his evening gown worn by Amandine Petit as she was crowned Miss Universe France 2021, will also be designing the evening gown for the diva for Miss Universe 2020. His breathtaking pieces have gained him the position as one of the best designers in the world. Ziad has also been taking care of Amandine’s outfits before her departure as well as on her ongoing journey.
Furne One for Miss Universe Philippines
Dubai-based Filipino designer Furne One is making his Miss Universe debut by dressing the Filipina beauty queen, Rabiya Mateo. With his flair for drama and exuberance, Furne definitely knows how to dress a queen. In a recent interview, Furne also shared how Miss Universe Philippines team has been very collaborative and engaged in preparing Rabiya to be at her best for the competition. “I have prepared four evening gowns in four different colors. We all want to showcase how Filipino fashion innovates and advances to global trends,” he added. Thrilled to achieve a milestone of dressing his very first Miss Universe candidate, he described his evening gowns as vibrant, energetic and eclectic.
Sebastian Gunawan for Miss Universe Indonesia
Indonesia’s Ayu Maulida will don Indonesian mastermind designer Sebastian Gunawan’s collection for her Miss Universe 2020 journey. Ayuma will be demonstrating several clothes by well-known Indonesian designers including Sebastian Gunawan, Diana M Putri, Priyo Oktaviano, Anne Avantie. Sebastian has been a major part of Ayu’s journey since her press conference to now the preliminary before the pageant finale. Sebastian Gunawan is one the most elite designers known worldwide who has also been awarded for the ‘Best Couture House in Indonesia.’
Michael Cinco for Miss Universe Canada and Miss Universe Romania
Michael Cinco is a unanimous name that surfaces in the couture industry as one the bests. Cinco has already designed the evening gowns of the country’s Miss Universe representatives in 2018 and 2019. For this year’s edition Cinco will be designing for not just one but two countries, Canada and Romania.
One of the most celebrated designers of his generation, Cinco has dressed up a wide array of top celebrities and will now dress Nova Stevens of Canada and Bianca Tirsin of Romania for the most important nights of their lives, for Miss Universe 2020. Tirsin said she is honored to wear the creation of Cinco, who is known for dressing up international A-listers in showbiz, fashion and pageants. Canada’s Nova is following in the footsteps of previous Miss Universe Canada representatives who also donned Michael Cinco gowns in the pageant.
