Miss Universe organization is all set to crown its new Miss Universe in just four days and each delegate is giving her level best to win the coveted crown for her country. With India’s Shweta Sharda being a front-runner for the Miss Universe 2023 crown, there might be a chance that she creates a sandwich win this year.

What exactly is a sandwich win? When a country wins the pageant in the first year, does not win it the next year and then again wins it in the third year, it is referred as a sandwich win. Shweta Sharda was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2023 on 31st October 2023 at The Lalit, Mumbai.

Shweta’s journey towards the crown has been a testament to her resilience in the midst of struggles. The 22-year-old beauty queen from Chandigarh was raised by a single parent and moved to Mumbai at the age of 16. Shweta stands as a beacon for young women who want to celebrate their individuality and nurture self-confidence.

As for her humanitarian causes, Shweta is deeply passionate about environmental conservation and empowering underprivileged youth. She has raised awareness about sustainable practices and initiate community-driven initiatives to protect the planet. Shweta also aims to create mentorship programs for disadvantaged young individuals, offering guidance and opportunities for personal growth to inspire positive change by addressing these crucial issues and fostering impactful actions.

With her strong advocacies, stunning beauty and a charming personality, Shweta might be almost ready to create a sandwich win for India at Miss Universe 2023. India has never created a sandwich win at Miss Universe before, however, the country managed to create one at Miss World in 1990s.
