Alina Mansur has been appointed as Miss Universe Aruba 2017, and will now represent Aruba at Miss Universe 2017 pageant to be held later this year. She is 26-year-old and has done her graduation from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Business Administration.
She won the title of Aruba’s Youth Carnaval Queen twice, one in the year 2005 and the other in 2009. Alina was also International Carnaval Queen in 2010. As of now, she is focusing on her real estate projects.
Official crowning of Miss Universe Aruba 2017 and Miss World Aruba 2017 was held on 4th July in a private ceremony, in the presence of family and friends. At the same event, Anouk Eman was appointed as Miss World Aruba 2017 and will compete at Miss World 2017. Anouk will now represent Aruba at Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in China later this year.
Talking about Aruba’s performance at Miss Universe pageant, Taryn Mansell was placed as first runner-up in 1996 at Miss Universe pageant and Tamara Scaroni became the first Aruban to receive the Miss Congeniality special award in 2000. Aruba has never won the Miss Universe title.
