Miss Australia Monika Radulovic initially stated that the top 3 Miss Universe contestants - Miss USA Olivia Jordan, Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzback- were the only ones who weren’t nice to the other girls.
In an interview with Triple M’s “The Grill Team” on Monday, the 26-year-old Sydney beauty spoke up about her relationship with the Miss Universe 2015 winner and runners-up, and admitted they weren’t as warm as it was with the other contestants.
“They were okay,” Radulovic simply said before expounding, “Can I just say that I tried to be friends with everyone. I tried to have a good time. Those three were the only ones who weren’t nice to the other girls.”

‘But I think that is because they were under a lot of pressure from their countries.’ However, this morning the 26-year-old model took to Instagram to clarify her opinion and apologises for anyone offended by her comments.
‘I always strive to be the best, kindest person I can be. But what I said yesterday came out completely the wrong way and I want to sincerely apologises for that,’ she wrote.
‘I didn’t mean they weren’t nice girls, just that they were very focused on what they were doing. I just didn’t get a chance to get to know them as much as you would have liked, and that is all that that I meant by it.’
‘I’m truly sorry if I’ve offended or upset anyone, that is the last thing I’d ever want to do. I will choose my words much more carefully from now on.’
In late December, the renowned event made headlines after, Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutiérrez, was mistakenly crowned as the winner - the disheartened contestant later handed the crown over to the correct winner Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach.

‘It still makes me cringe,’ Ms Radulovic, who placed fourth, said.
The Aussie beauty also revealed that while her experience was ‘amazing’, her time in Las Vegas wasn’t a party, like many had imagined.
‘We were pretty much locked inside planet Hollywood hotel we couldn’t leave the room without our supervisor,’ she said.
