Miss Universe Bahamas organization has appointed Shauntae-Ashleigh Miller as the new Miss Universe Bahamas 2020 and will represent Bahamas in Miss Universe 2020 to be held in the first quarter of next year. Shauntae-Ashleigh Miller succeeds Miss Universe Bahamas 2019 Tarea Sturrup.
The 27-year-old stunning beauty is a graduate in clinical counseling in mental health. Shauntee is not new to the pageant world as she participated in Miss Universe Bahamas 2018 and was adjudged the first finalist at the end of the event finale. She went on to participate in Miss Intercontinental 2018 and represent her country with pride.
A bold, unique, and unapologetically in control woman, Shauntae-Ashleigh Miller is rooted in identity and empowerment. She comes from an athletic family and started an athletics club which promotes health, fitness and friendly competition for kids. She understands the importance of sacrifice, focus and determination and wishes to advocate the same through her participation.
Shauntae took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned. “It’s such an amazing feeling when God answers your prayers!!! Sometimes we may feel discouraged and alone, and simply want to give up on our promises from God. Other times it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen and you begin to question whether God has forgotten you and the promises He made you?”
“I’m here today to remind everyone that “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. If God said it, it SHALL come to pass!!! It is important for us to continue to keep the FAITH, no matter how the situation may look, some people will try to discourage you along the way and some will give up on you, but it’s very important for YOU to not give up on YOUR dreams. Continue to fight the good fight, for without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please Him. I would also love to add that whatever God does is “WELL DONE”. He makes no mistakes....The Wait, The Hurt, The Disappointments, The Betrayal, Not Having The Finances, Being Laughed At and Feeling Lonely was ALL NECESSARY!!! Sometimes all of these things and more has to take place for us to find ourselves, our strength and our purpose. Everyone has a purpose on earth that has to be fulfilled, and it’s up to us to find our purpose.” She added.
“If you’re passionate about something, Pray on it and if God says Yes, go at it Wholeheartedly. For His promises are sure, His Promises are Yay, Nay and Amen. I don’t care how long it takes, keep the Faith...God is a Promise Keeper!!!
