With Miss Universe Colombia being a separate organization from 2020 edition, the rules might change for the delegates who have previously participated in a national pageant to get another chance to represent Colombia at Miss Universe. This means, experienced, veteran beauties can now give pageantry another chance and one name that pops up immediately is Hillary Hollmann del Prado.
Not new the pageantry world, Hillary participated in Miss Earth Colombia 2018 where she placed as Miss Earth Water Colombia 2018. Later, she participated in Miss Intercontinental 2018 and was placed at Top 5 at the end of the event finale. Hillary is a woman of passion, determination and positivity who takes her every project with the same intensity. Hillary’s passion and dream to be a beauty queen has been supported by her family and friends who have helped her gain a lot of confidence and self-assurance to compete.
Hillary is 23 years of age and stands 173 cm tall. She has completed her majors in Social Communication and Journalism. She is also a model by profession and is a part of the One Models Management. Due to her modelling career, Hillary has been able to travel a lot around the world and is very thankful for the opportunity. She is very passionate about her profession which is why she recalls her memories of shootings, runways, music videos and fashion weeks very fondly.
When Hillary was a teenager, she learnt how to do her own makeup, an art that she later perfected with intensive beauty training that she carried out in Macao. Her entire family has been very supportive towards her career and dreams and they feel very excited and proud whenever she achieves something in life.
Hillary is one of the strongest candidates who shows a strong stage presence with her mesmerising smile and amazing catwalk skills. She is very close to the nature and usually spends her free time on the beach or in nature. She wants to create awareness among the people about the importance of environment and how much one needs to take care of it. She feels it is important to learn about one’s country, its ecosystems, its biodiversity, and the laws that today protect the natural wealth.
Hillary is very confident and tries to maintain calm and composed attitude on-stage as well. She works on her on-stage walk, body postures, body angles and communication and interview skills everyday to be ready. If she gets a chance again at Miss Universe Colombia in the future, she can be a tough competition as she is focused and experienced in her work.
