The opening ceremony of Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 was held on 27th July 2023 at Studio Bayon where the contestants were officially sashed and presented to the media. The winner of the national pageant will get the opportunity to represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2023.

Miss Universe Cambodia organization presented 35 contestants for this year’s edition. Maha Sop Production Manager in Sophin, who organized the event, also announced that the winner will have the opportunity in the modeling industry with honors and crowns worth more than $ 200,000.

Concluding the opening ceremony, the swimsuit competition will be held on 24th August while the national costume competition will be held on 28th August. The organization will host the preliminary competition on 30th August and the coronation night will be held on 7th September 2023. Miss Universe Cambodia 2022 Manita Hang will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, is scheduled to be held on 18th November 2023 in El Salvador where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
