The finale of Miss Universe China 2023 was held on 22nd October 2023 in Dehua where Jia Qi was crowned as the new winner as she became the official representative of China at Miss Universe 2023.

Jia Qi bested 31 other contestants to win the national crown. She was born in Qingdao, Shandong and is a resident of Beijing, China. A former track and field athlete, Jia is a fitness enthusiast. For her, exercise is a priority and a habit in her lifestyle, making her feel confident inside and out.

Miss Universe China organization, through their official social media, announced her crowning as they wrote, “We have the honor of introducing our Miss Universe China 2023 winner Jia Qi. She is 23 years old and she is a former track and field athlete as well as a fitness enthusiast!”

“Participating in fitness competitions has been one of her goals as well as obtaining the Miss Universe China 2023 title. She will now represent our motherland at the 72 Miss Universe beauty pageant in San Salvador, El Salvador! Please give a round of applause and love to our new queen”, they added.

The 72nd edition of Miss Universe, i.e. Miss Universe 2023, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
