Imelda Schweighart, former Miss Earth Philippines, is all set to make her comeback in pageantry as she has become an official candidate of Miss Universe Germany 2023. The Filipina-German beauty is ready to compete for the national crown which is set to be held on 15th July 2023.
Imelda Schweighart hopes to use her platform for the ‘Single Parent Focus’ advocacy, which aims to improve single parents and their children's mental health through music. With her experience at the pageantry and her charming personality, Imelda will definitely be a strong contender for national crown.
Schweighart has also been sharing snippets of her physical training for the Miss Universe Germany 2023. “I used to build my glutes till 6 months ago, I had to shred the muscle mass and get to my natural slim physique. Let’s see if I get to it in time!" she said.
With her previous participation in pageantry, Imelda was also caught in a little controversy when she accused the then Miss Earth winner, Espin, of having cosmetic surgery, remarking that she had a ‘fake nose, fake chin, fake boobs’.
The winner of the Miss Universe Germany 2023 will succeed and be crowned by Miss Universe Germany 2022 Soraya Kohlmann who represented Germany at Miss Universe 2022 but remained unplaced.
