The organization of Miss Universe Honduras appointed Cecilia Rossell as the new Miss Universe Honduras 2020 as she becomes the official representative of Honduras at Miss Universe 2020 stage. The diva succeeds Miss Universe Honduras 2019 Rosemary Arauz for the title.

Cecilia is a strong, confident woman who was crowned Miss Supranational Honduras 2017 but later the organization withdrew their participation from the competition. She was also the part of Miss Universe Honduras 2019 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up. She studied Communication and Advertising from the University of San Pedro Sula USAP. She is excited to take over the duties as Miss Universe Honduras 2020 start her preparation for the competition.

The diva stated that she considers herself as blessed that she has been able to perform well at all the events she was part of and the people around her have always supported and motivated her to do good.
