Carmen Panepinto crowned Miss Universe Italy 2023

The 19th edition of Miss Universe Italy was held on 8th October 2023 at Lo Smeraldo Ricevimento di Lusso, Puglia, Italy where Carmen Panepinto Zayati was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2023 as she became the official representative of Italy at Miss Universe 2023.

Carmen Panepinto is 24 years of age and hails from Marche, Italy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Universita di Pisa in Pisa, Italy. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in bionics engineering and is expected to graduate in 2024.

 

 

 

Carmen has a lot of interest in robotics, biomechanics and bioelectronics and has participated in various workshops and events. She has also worked as an electronics teacher at Istituto di Istruzione Superiore (ISIS) Carducci-Volta-Pacinotti in Piombino, Tuscany, Italy.

The contestants who competed at Miss Universe Italy 2023 are Fabiana Garganella, Lara D'Angiolillo, Francesca Comandè, Filomena Venuso, Angela Di Grazia, Federica Iacopino, Arianna Galli, Erika Pisano, Lisney Corradin, Carmen Panepinto Zavati, Vanessa Di Lernia, Federica Negri, Ginevra Morganti, Alessia Del Monte, Andrea Pepi, Michelle Bonati, Camilla Franchetto, Andrea Ingrosso, Marcella Marlene Casillo, Zoe Battiston and Sofia Costantini.

 

 

 

Carmen succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Italy 2022 Virginia Stablum who represented Italy at Miss Universe 2022 but could not place in the Top 21. Carmen Panepinto will now prepare to represent Italy at Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, which will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
