The organization of Miss Universe Japan will be hosting the grand finale on 29th October 2020 where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and an opportunity to represent Japan at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Miss Universe 2019 Ako Kamo will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Last year, Ako Kamo represented Japan at Miss Universe 2019 stage and was highly appreciated for her strong performance but unfortunately was not placed at the end of the event finale. Japan won its crown in 2007 when Riyo Mori represented the country.
