Tomiris Zair, through the official social media, announced her official appointment to represent her country, Kazakhstan at Miss Universe 2023. Zair previously held the title of Vice Miss Kazakhstan 2022.

Zair’s official announcement wrote, “With great pride I would like to announce that I have been honored to represent my home country, Kazakhstan, at the prestigious Miss Universe pageant. This is an incredible opportunity for me to share the culture, heritage and beauty of our amazing country with the rest of the world.”

“I sincerely hope that my path to this competition will inspire young people in Kazakhstan and prove that dreams can come true with hard work and dedication. With gratitude for your support, I look forward to meeting other contestants and sharing this unique experience on my way to the Miss Universe title. See you in El Salvador this November”, she added.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
