Trisha Mohabeer - Miss Grand Bois
Miss Grand Bois Trisha Mohabeer is the official representative of Grand Bois province in Miss Universe Mauritius 2018.
The thing she likes the most about her country Mauritius is its culture and smile of Mauritian people. According to her, she will bring smile to everyone and will ensure to bring her culture to every country she travels.
She once said, “I believe that talking sense and respecting others’ feelings is more important than always being right. We should be open to disagreements and learn from others’ opinions and ideas.”
Queency Naigum - Miss Grand Bay
Miss Grand Bay Queency Naigum is the official representative of Grand Bay province in Miss Universe Mauritius 2018.
She is very close to her family. What makes her smile is to see people she loves being happy in their life. She idolizes Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra from India who is also a famous actress in India and Unites States. For her, she is an admirable lady who has achieved so many things in her young age till now.
She loves dancing, for her it is a method to express ourselves and a physical activity at the same time.
Varsha Ragoobarsing - Miss Flacq
Miss Flacq Varsha Ragoobarsing is the official representative of Flacq province in Miss Universe Mauritius 2018.
She is very fond of her mother’s hand food and says that her mother prepares the food with all the love she has for her and no one can replace that. She wants the talent of making people laugh and smile even in their hardest time. Smiles attract positivity in life and those positive vibes bring hope and strength to stand firm and face life challenges with grace is her belief.
What makes her smile is nature around her, good food, warm hugs from her mum and objects full of shining stones and glitter. She idolizes her father in life.
Clarineda Thomas - Miss Bel Air
Miss Bel Air Clarineda Thomas is the official representative of Bel Air province in Miss Universe Mauritius 2018.
A unique choice but her favourite animal is a panda. She finds it adorable and funny while playing. Her love for Mauritian food is unparalleled, especially the chicken curry and the roti; they are her favourite food.
What makes her smile is when she crawls up into bed with fresh sheets after a long day. This makes her smile so much as she knows she will sleep like a baby. Fond of dancing and singing, her favourite artist is Ed Sheeran.
Neelam Canoosamy - Miss Beau Bassin RH
Miss Beau Bassin RH Neelam Canoosamy is the official representative of Beau Bassin RH in Miss Universe Mauritius 2018.
Neelam is a cat lover and thinks that these creatures appreciate the small things in life. She is very fond of Mauritian food. For her, nothing beats her island spices.
When asked, “Which superpower would you like to have and why?” she answered, “I would love to talk to animals. I've always wondered what my pet is thinking.
Being able to communicate with cats, dogs and random animals that would cross my path would enable me to help them.”
