Former Miss World Americas Solaris Barba to comeback with Miss Universe Panama 2022

The Miss Universo Panama organization hosted the casting round for the upcoming 2022 edition of the national title on 11th May 2022 at Hotel El Panamá, Salón Zafiro, where stunning aspirants from all over the country showcased their passion and skills to join the competition and celebrate the beauty of Panamanian women.

One of the divas, spotted at the casting, who has gained the spotlight is Miss World Americas 2018 Solaris Barba. Barba’s comeback has been anticipated for a long time and has also rejoiced the pageant fans. “I’m back to my land! I ate, danced, enjoyed, laughed, cried and purified myself now I am recharged, revitalized, aligned ?? and ready for everything new that the universe brings me,” she shared.

 

 

Solaris De la Luna Barba Cañizales is a Panamanian model, Philanthropist, and winner of the titles Miss World Panama 2018. She represented Panama at the Miss World 2018 competition where she was one of the top 12 semifinalists and was awarded the title Miss World Americas 2018, the highest placement achieved by a Panamanian up to that date.

23 years-old Barba is studying marketing and international business. She is also an entrepreneur being the co-owner of La Chantin Burger. Solaris is also a TV host for Alo Panameno, a Folk TV show that highlights Panamanian customs and traditions.

 

 

Last year, Miss Universe Panama 2021 Brenda Andrea Smith Lezama represented the country at Miss Universe 2021, who finished among the Top 12 finalists. The diva will now crown her successor as the representative of Panama for the Miss Universe 2022 competition.
