22 year-old Nadia is currently studying towards a degree in business engineering. She speaks English fluently and can also communicate in Portuguese. In 2015, she appeared in ‘Parodiando in Telefuturo’, a television show in which participants performed parodies of famous singers.

She is a Paraguayan supermodel who has graced some of the most important runways all over the world, shot tons of major campaigns for major brands and appeared on covers of major magazines. The pinnacle of her career was the New York Fashion Week. She walked the runway on many occasions creating an uproar in the local and international media from supporters and critics. She has walked in fashion shows in Milan, Santiago, Paris, Brazil, Paraguay, Mexico, Qatar, Dubai.

In 2018, she signed with the Wilhelmina modeling agency, famous for models like Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, and Nick Jonas. Also not new to pageantry, she competed at Miss Teen Universe 2014 in Guatemala where she was adjudged as the third runner-up.

Nadia recently took to her social media to share her emotions as she wrote, “A dream come true, officially I will be PARAGUAY before the Universe, there is not so much happiness in me, for this great honor and for the support I receive from an entire Country, but above all things grateful to God for allowing me to continue fulfilling my dreams and for blessing me with so much love.” She also thanked the Promociones Gloria organization for giving her the opportunity and promised to not miss it and work hard to fulfill the dream of bringing the first Universal crown for Paraguay.

She has had a difficult life but with positivity and attitude she has managed to get ahead. Paraguay can really dream with this woman as she is definitely a strong contender for the international title. Paraguay last placed in 2006 with Lourdes Veronica Arevalos placing 3rd runner-up making it a tie for their highest placement together with Yanina Alicia Gonzalez who was the 3rd runner-up on 2004.

Last year, Vanessa Castro Guillen represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2020 but remained unplaced at the end of the event. Miss Universe 2021 will be the 70th anniversary of the Miss Universe pageant, to be held in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
