The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 is all set to host its coronation on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor at the end of the finale.
Kim Chi Crizaldo is representing Iloilo Province at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 who has gained the front-runner status of winning the title and representing Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. Kim is 23-years-old and hails from the Municipality of Sara. She graduated from Cavite State University with a bachelor’s degree and is now currently working as a flight attendant.
Kim’s love for pageantry compelled her to represent her province at the pageant and get the crown. The captivating queen from Sara is not new to the pageantry as she participated in Miss Iloilo Tourism Pageant in 2018. Crizaldo mentioned that she is blessed that she was given opportunities to participate in the local pageants and experience the beauty pageants in Iloilo.
Kim aspires of being a role model for women and inspire them to love themselves as they are. She wants women especially young women to dream and work hard to achieve those dreams. When asked about her philosophy of life, she firmly said: “You have to dream big and live it wholeheartedly.”
Kim is beautiful and possesses a charming personality. It will be thrilling to watch her strive to win the crown to eventually represent Philippines in Miss Universe 2020 especially after gaining the status of a front-runner in the competition. The pageant aims to encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are. It trains participants to become role models, pursuing personal and professional goals, while also leaving and inspiring positive impact in society.
Aside from physical and emotional training, the victim also focuses on raising confidence levels to better demonstrate her advocacy in relation to public health and sanitation. With the world dealing with a crisis of Covid19 and health sanitation and personal hygiene is one of her advocacy, she was recently seen teaching kids concepts in community clean up, proper garbage disposal, toilets for each household, proper hand washing, potable drinking water, food sanitation, anti-dengue, anti -virus, anti-bacterial and anti-germicidal good practices for the wellbeing of the communities.
She also joined the synchronized clean-up of all towns in the province of Iloilo, a project of the Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. She joined the Municipality of Cabatuan Iloilo. Kim Chi Crizaldo has emerged as a strong and potential winner for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2020. She has all the skills and abilities after which one can consider her as the perfect representative. The diva has performed exceptional well in the pre-pageant activities as well which will help her once the pageant begins again.
