Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Top 52: Lou Dominique Piczon

With Miss Universe Philippines separating from Binibining Pilipinas in 2019, the first edition of Miss Universe Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be hosted on 3rd May 2020 in Mall of Asia Arena, Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila.

Lou Dominique Piczon has become the official representative of Mandaue for Miss Universe Philippines 2020 after she was confirmed at the red-carpet presentation held in Manila. Loiu is 24-years-old and stands 175cm tall and is completing her IT degree from the University of San Jose, Recoletos. Lou is not new to the pageantry world as she has participated in various beauty pageants including Ms. Catbalogan City Athletic Association 2008, Ms. Summer Queen 2013 where she was adjudged as the first runner up, Ms. Mandaue 2014 Sapphire Edition, Reyna ng Aliwan 2016 where she was adjudged as the second runner up. Lou also participated and was crowned Binibining Cebu Heritage 2018.

Lou is a keen advocate of Mental Health and under her title and organization of Binibining Cebu Heritage 2018 she has found a platform named “Rise Up” where she encourages and urge people to speak up about anything that’s bothering them. She wants to break down the stigma around mental health and ask people to open and talk about it. Lou has worked with various designers and brands and has gained knowledge and skills for the beauty pageant. Her experience during her reign of Binibining Cebu Heritage 2018 has taught her how to be calm and composed during the competition. The diva takes her fitness and healthy lifestyle seriously and tries to workout and eat clean to maintain herself.

Lou is working on her polishing her skills like body postures, angles, body language, interview skills and on-stage walk for the competition. She is focused and very determined to earn the opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2020. She is very comfortable on stage as she has also been a model mentor and host for local events in Mandaue. She shows immense dedication towards winning the title.

Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados will crown her successor by the end of the event finale. The pageant aims to encourage Filipina women to become empowered individuals, who also embody the mission of being agents of meaningful change wherever they are. It trains participants to become role models, pursuing personal and professional goals, while also leaving and inspiring positive impact in society.
