The Miss Universe Philippines organization took to their social media to share that the coronation night will not be pushing through on 25th September 2021. They wrote, “We will announce the final date of the pageant as soon as we get the final approval from IATF for our enhanced plans for the finals. Rest assured that once we receive the final go signal, you will be the first to know.”

The organization has also shared the changes on the dates and schedule of its pre-pageant events, activities and preliminary competitions. "Mounting a safe pageant for all our stakeholders is our number one priority today. This is why we enhanced, even more, all of our safety protocols given our current situation. Given this, (we've set) the new dates for the pre-pageant activities, preliminaries, and the voting period,” the organization said.

Here is the new schedule for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 –

23rd September 2021: National Costume Competition

24th September 2021: Preliminary Interviews

26th September 2021: Preliminary Swimsuit and Evening Gown Competition

While the date for the coronation night is yet to be announced, the last day of the Lazada online poll is 29th September. Only 28 candidates remain in the pageant, after Zambales’ representative Joanna Maria Rabe withdrew from the competition due to dengue and Davao City’s Ybonne Ortega tested positive for COVID-19.

Out of these delegates, one phenomenal woman will take away the crown of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and win an opportunity to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2021, scheduled to be held in Israel, this December. The winner of this year’s national pageant will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo who was placed at Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020.
