The Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to host the coronation for Miss Universe Philippines 2021 where delegates from all over the country will participate and compete for the national crown and win a chance to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2021. The winner will succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo, who represented the country at Miss Universe 2020 in the United States and finished in the Top 21 at the end of the event finale.
Angela Maria Robson is one of the divas who is expected to compete in Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and seems like a potential candidate to represent the country at Miss Universe 2021. She is 21-years-old and is a British-Filipino living in Angeles City, Pampanga. She has graduated with a degree in Marketing Management from Angeles University Foundation and is a professional model represented by Viva Artists Agency.
The diva first entered the pageantry world when she was 17 years old when her professor recommended her name to someone looking for a commercial model, and she has only grown since then to ace her work and performance on-stage. She is passionate about beauty pageants, fashion, and making the Philippines proud, which is why the pageant community believes that she could be a strong contender for the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown.
Angela shared that she wanted to be a lawyer and then her interest inclined towards business, but her dream of being a corporate lawyer remained but had to be kept on hold as she discovered the world of beauty pageants. The diva believes that anyone who has a good personality can go a long way in whatever industry they want to be in. "I guess that’s what we need right now. Just someone real, " she added. After being a part of a commercial shoot, Angela started to take a keen interest in modeling and she participated in Miss Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) 2017 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up. Angela later decided to participate in Miss Pampanga 2019 and won the title. She came to national attention when she competed in the Miss Millennial 2019 of the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga.
The diva describes her experience at Miss Millennial as "new and exciting.” She mentioned, "It’s not a pageant. It’s a show competition. Instead of being regal and poised, you have to be bubbly and charming. It was a huge shift po, but I had fun, overall, because I met so many girls and I’ve made so many friends. If I wanted to travel somewhere in the Philippines, I could just hit them up. " Angela describes herself as, "I can say that I’m a chameleon. It depends on the situation and the mood. I can be fierce if you want me to be fierce, and I can be bubbly, at the same time. "
Angela is an experienced, beautiful, and determined woman who could be a strong contender for the title if trained well. She is willing to participate in Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and with her confidence, we’re sure she will make it to the final list.
