The applications of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 have officially closed, and the official delegates will be announced on 28th February 2022. This year the applications consist of former beauty queens who have represented Philippines at an international stage and debutantes who show incredible potential.

One of these beauties who has already created an uproar with her application is Danielle Camcam, a 24-year-old beauty queen who hails from San Juan city. She is none other than Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2021 Emmanuelle Vera’s younger sister, however the connection is not easily made by her surname.

Danielle, nicknamed Dani, graduated from De LaSalle University with a degree in Psychology and was a consistent deans lister. After graduating, she worked in Marketing for a real estate company for a year. However, her biggest dream was always farming which led to her quitting her job in 2021. She, then, decided to start traveling around the Philippines and parts of the US.

Through her travels, she understood the importance of agriculture, especially during the pandemic. During the pandemic, food supply became a worry as there was food shortages in groceries, and the scarcity of crops. Thus, in 2022, Dani went back to Amulung, Cagayan where she bought land and began her farming journey.

Through her application for Miss Universe Philippines 2022, Dani wishes to represent the underserved and the neglected farmers of her country who truly have the power to shake the universe. Dani is a confident and stunning woman who will definitely prove to be a strong contender at the national competition if she becomes one of the official delegates. Being Emmanuelle Vera’s younger sister, Dani will definitely get the right guidance in her pageant journey.
