Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will start screening for new delegates in February as the national pageant will be held sometime this year. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez.

Nikki de Moura is a young model, 18 years of age. Standing 170 cm tall, the beauty queen hails from Cagayan de Oro. This Filipina Brazilian diva was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to the Philippines only four years ago.

Not new to the industry, at the age of 14, she won her first ever pageant Miss Governor's Cup South 2018. At the age of 15, she was crowned as the Miss Teen Philippines 2019. At the age of 16, she became an ambassador for Bench. And at the age of 17, she became the SuperModel Me Season 6 1st Runner Up.

Nikki grew up watching the Victoria’s Secret fashion shows, which inspired her to pursue modelling. “I watched the shows and I was like, ‘I want to be a model.’ That’s how I started. I had workshops here in the Philippines when I was 12, and then turned professional when I was 13,” she related. Competing and living alone in Singapore has also helped Nikki mature and realize the value of independence. Being with women of different backgrounds and cultures has also taught her how to better connect with people.

Even though Nikki is quite young and has many years to groom herself, nobody can stop her from starting early. With her experience in modelling and her gorgeous beauty, Nikki de Moura will definitely be a strong contender for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 crown if she decides to participate.
