Miss Universe Philippines 2022, the 3rd edition of the national pageant, will be held sometime soon where stunning divas from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the chance to represent Philippines at Miss Universe 2022.
While many wishlists are being prepared for the upcoming edition, R’Bonney Nola is one of the most anticipated names emerging and rumoured to join the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant. Standing 170 cm tall, 26 year-old Filipina-American Nola is a fashion designer, teacher, model, and entrepreneur.
R’Bonney has been designing since she was a teenager and designed all of her gowns and outfits during her stellar stint at Miss Texas USA 2021, where she as placed as the first runner-up. She studied BFA in Fashion Designing with a minor in Fibers from University of North Texas. The diva runs her own brand that goes by her name and practices sustainable design methods and uses repurposed and natural fabrics.
R’BONNEY NOLA is an independent label from Houston practicing sustainable design methods and using repurposed/natural fabrics. Created for those seeking artistic expression in their wardrobe, the brand encourages a lifestyle of self-confidence and individuality.
Talking about her brand and the idea behind it, Nola shares, “There is a special feeling I get when completing a garment I’ve dreamt up. The process of transforming a simple piece of fabric into something much more captivating is quite amazing. Endless possibilities…. always problem solving, always learning. In a lot of ways, the art of designing clothes reflects life; it’s challenging, unexpected, and beautiful. And if we as humans wear clothing every day, why not make it good?”
This talented young lady has a commanding presence on stage, great communication skills, is a stunner on the runway, projects well on camera and exudes freshness and modernity. If she decides to join the national pageant this year, R’Bonney will definitely be a strong contender and emerge as a front runner for the national title.
