The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Preliminaries was broadcasted LIVE at the Okada Manila Grand Ballroom on 10th May 2023 at 1pm where the contestants were judged to see who will make the final cut. Along with the pre-pageant challenge winners, the candidates who aced the preliminary competition will make up the list of semifinalists at the coronation night.

The thirty-eight stunning candidates paraded in both swimsuit and evening gowns and looked every bit beautiful in their outfits. The judges also put their minds and confidence to the test as the contestants answered different questions during the preliminary interviews.

The delegates were given a set of questions by a panel of judges where they had to tell something interesting about themselves and also share their thoughts about being ‘influential’. The delegates also spoke of what the South Sea pearl means to them and the importance of supporting locally made products.

The coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 will be held on 13th May 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Miss Universe 2022 R'bonney Gabriel and Miss Universe Thai owner Anne Jakrajutatip will be attending as guests.
