Miss Universe Philippines organization is all set to host the 2023 edition of the national pageant as the applications have been opened and extended until 5th February 2023. The organization will select thirty contestants who will compete for the national title and winner will be crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023.

The new announcement, made on the official social media of Miss Universe Philippines, extends the application for the potential delegates to join the pageant. The winner will get the opportunity to represent Philippines at the next edition of Miss Universe.

The reigning Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. She is currently in New Orleans, Louisiana preparing to represent Philippines at the finale of Miss Universe 2022 which will be held on 14th January 2023 in USA.
