Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Karen Joyce Olfato, the reigning Miss Batangas Universe, has made it as the official delegate of the national competition. Karen was crowned Miss Batangas 2023 at the finale held at the Claro M. Recto Event Center in Lipa City in Batangas on 10th December 2023.

On winning the opportunity to compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Karen took to her official social media as she wrote, “Officially starting the journey to the universe. To be capable of making a path on this endeavor, I want to ensure the wellness of my holistic health. When I was young, I was a sickly child. It gets in the way of things that I want to pursue. Growing up, I realized that we need to be well in every aspect - mentally, emotionally, and physically - so we can have the fuel to take every step that come our way.”
“This is why I dedicate myself in advocating for the holistic health of the community. Drawing from my own experiences, being unwell in one aspect can negatively affect the others, which can consequently affect our way of living. Start healthy lifestyle with yourself and extend to the community”, she added.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
