The first edition of Miss Universe Philippines – Cebu was held on 3rd February 2024 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, Lahug where Kris Tiffany Janson was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Cebu 2024 as she became the official representative of Cebu at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

The 34-year-old beauty queen is a Filipino finance analyst from Cebu. Not new to the pageant world, Kris competed at Miss Cebu 2009 and won the crown. In 2014, Kris competed at Binibining Pilipinas 2014 where she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2014. She then went on to represent Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2014 and placed second runner-up.

Kris has also worked as a sales marketing manager, marketing consultant and social media manager. After winning the crown, Kris took to her official social media as she thanked everyone for their support in her journey. Being a pageant veteran, Kris will definitely be one of the strongest contenders at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

Her court includes Juvel Mangubat Ducay (Bantayan Island) as Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Tourism 2024, Nica Zosa Nabua (Minglanilla) as Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Charity 2024, and Mary Josephine Paaske (Talisay City) as Miss Universe Philippines Cebu Heritage 2024. Kris, along with her court, will compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2024.

Miss Universe Philippines 2024 will be the fifth edition of the Miss Universe Philippines where Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee of Makati will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024 to be held in Mexico.
