The 2023 edition of Miss Portugal Universo has officially begun as seventeen finalists have been selected to compete for the national crown and the winner will get the opportunity to represent Portugal at Miss Universe 2023.
The finale of the national competition, namely Ms Portugal 2023 (aka Miss Universe Portugal 2023) is scheduled to be held on 5th October 2023 at the Pavilhão de Eventos de Borba (Borba Events Pavilion).
The contestants competing for Miss Universe Portugal 2023 are Andresa Neves, Bárbara Gavaia, Celina Fernandes, Celine Rodrigues, Débora Lourenço, Diana Lopes, Elisabete Abreu, Inês Cabral, Inês Carvalho, Joana Costa, Joana Teixeira, Marina Machete, Sabrina Gladio, Sandra Gonçalves, Tatiana Pais, Thayna Soares and Valerie Faria.
The winner will compete at Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, which will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
