The 65th edition of Miss Universe Puerto Rico i.e., Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020, will be held in the month of June 2020 where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and the chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2020. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2019 Madison Anderson of Toa Baja will crow her successor at the end of the event finale.
While the pageant is yet to begin, the pageant fanatics have begun to prepare their wishlists for the beautiful potential contestants who should give this year’s edition a go. One name which has made it to almost all the wishlists is Jaylene Álvarez, one of the pre-candidates for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2020 crown. From San Lorenzo, Jaylene is a spectacular model and dancer. Her broad desire for science motivated her to have a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao campus. She is currently doing a Doctorate in Pharmacology at the University of Puerto Rico. The stunning beauty is sure a beauty with brains.
From being a part of every wishlist to receiving a call back from the organization itself, Jaylene sure has had an interesting journey. This wont be her first time participating in a pageant as she was a part of Miss Puerto Rico Petite 2013 when she was 20 years old. She also has been doing a commendable philanthropic work with cancer patients in different hospitals in the country and at the Ronald's McDonald Foundation.
An epitome of a Puerto Rican beauty, Jaylene will surely fulfil the social and cultural obligations that come with the title if she becomes the official representative of Puerto Rico in Miss Universe.
