Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023, the 67th edition of the national pageant, will begin soon as the organization is currently completing its casting process to select the national delegates who will compete at the national competition and win the opportunity to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2023.

Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo, who rose to fame with her stellar performance at Miss Supranational 2021, has made it to the castings of Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023. Now, if she becomes the official delegate and wins the pageant, it will be a strong chance for Puerto Rico to win a strong placement at Miss Universe 2023.

Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo hails from Isla Culebra, Puerto Rico. The stunning beauty is the chief executive officer and director of Comencemos a Sanar, a platform for passion for education, community work, and social justice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently pursuing MA Counseling Psychology.

Not new to the pageantry, Karla was Miss Teen Mundial Puerto Rico 2018. She finished in the Top 12 when she represented Puerto Rico at Miss Teen Mundial 2018 in El Salvador. At 23 years of age, Karla was officially appointed as Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2020 in December 2020. The stunning beauty represented Puerto Rico at Miss Supranational 2021 in Nowy Sacz, Poland where she was named Miss Elegance and became runner-up to Chanique Rabe of Namibia.

With her experience in pageantry, her personal qualifications and a strong educational background, Karla will be an ideal representative of Puerto Rico at an international platform such as Miss Universe.
