Sushmita Sen, former Miss Universe and a famous actor in her country, took to her official social media to reveal that she suffered a heart attack a few days back and had to undergo angioplasty. The stent is in place and now she is recovering at home.
Sushmita took to her official social media as she wrote, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well-wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!”
Sushmita Sen, an Indian actress and model, was crowned Miss Universe in 1994. She became the first Indian to win the Miss Universe pageant. Sen was born into a Bengali Baidya family in Hyderabad to Shubeer Sen, a former Indian Air Force Wing Commander, and Subhra Sen, a jewellery designer and owner of a Dubai-based store.
