Miss Universe Thailand is the annual national beauty pageant of Thailand that selects the gorgeous Thai divas to compete in the national pageant and selects the winner to represent Thailand in Miss Universe pageant. Miss Universe Thailand 2019, the 20th edition of the national beauty pageant, has recently commenced with the organization announcing the format, application, audition & selection procedure and the schedule of events. The finale of this year’s edition of Miss Universe Thailand will take place on 29th June 2019.

The coronation night will witness sixty beauties that will be shortlisted after completion of the auditions, competing for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Thailand in Miss Universe 2019 pageant. Miss Universe Thailand 2018 Ning Sophida Kanchanarin will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The organization is all set to start accepting applications for the national contest, and the format and the schedule of events has been announced.

This year, 60 candidates will be selected to compete in the national finale to wear the crown which has been specially designed with nine auspicious gems. The finale will be telecasted on PPTV 36 television channel.

10th May 2019 –Online applications opening

26th May 2019 –Online applications closure

1st & 2nd June 2019 – Final auditions

12th June 2019 – Announcement of candidates

17th June 2019 – Swimsuit Competition

27th Jun 2019 – Preliminary Competition

29th June 2019 – Final Competition

This is the first edition of Miss Universe Thailand which is not under the chairmanship of Surang Prampree, who was the President for 19 years. After her resignation, the organization is now chaired by TPN 2018 Co., Ltd. Represented by Somchai Cheewasutthanon, Piyaporn Sankosik and Narong Lertkitsiri.
