The organization of Miss Universe Thailand held the first press conference for Miss Universe Thailand 2020 with major changes to the pageant keeping in mind the situation of covid-19 pandemic. The coronation ceremony will be held on 10th October 2020 and Miss Universe Thailand 2019 Paweensuda Drouin will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

With the list of delegates coming in for the beauty competition, the organization will announce the 100 potential candidates and select Top 30 who will move forward in the competition and compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Chavika Watrsang who is one of the potential candidates who have enrolled in for the competition has caught our attention as she seems potential candidate.

Chavika is 24-years-old and stands 180 cm tall and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Assumption University of Thailand. She works as a model and is very passionate about beauty pageants and representing Thailand at international stage.

Chavika is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she represented Thailand at Miss Earth 2015. She participated in Miss Universe Thailand 2015 held in the month of July and was appreciated by not only the judges but also the fans and became one of the fan favorites for the title. Unfortunately, she was not the winner of the title but was adjudged with the title of first runner up at the end of the event finale losing the crown to Aniporn Chalermburanawong. But, in September, the Miss Universe Thailand announced via social media that the diva has been appointed as the representative of Thailand for Miss Earth 2015 competition held in Austria.  She was appreciated for her strong performance at Miss Earth 2015 competition but unfortunately, wasn’t placed. Chavika is the first representative from Miss Universe Thailand since 2012 when Waratthaya Wongchayaporn was sent to compete.

The diva is strong, self-assured, dedicated towards winning the title and has already started to prepare herself up for the finale event. Her demure and charm is enough to impress audience and judges at the competition. Chavika is very positive and humble in nature and is very excited to meet all the other delegates of the competition. She is working on her skills and abilities needed in order to win the competition and represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2020 stage. Chavika can be front runner for the title as she is experienced, strong, and focused towards her goal.
