Miss Universe Thailand 2022 officially began on 20th June 2022 at the ‘First Gate to the Universe’.  Yesterday, the applicants arrived in Bangkok where they had the casting and filming of ‘The Gate to the Universe’, the first episode of MUT special.

A few of the contestants who were spotted at the event included Perpetua Smith, Opal Suchata, Kanyalak Nookaew, Renée Renita Veronica Pagano, Anna Sueangam-iam. These are few of the most talented and exceptionally beautiful ladies vying for the national crown.

According to the organization, all the candidates had to show confidence, passion and Universe quality at the event. The selection committee included Piyaporn Sankosik - National Director of Miss Universe Thailand 2022, Metinee Kingpayome - Supermodel and actress, Sophida Jiratritarn - Miss Universe Thailand 2018, Taneth Laksanavilas - Pageant expert.

The very first episode of Miss Universe Thailand 2022's journey will premiere on Monday, 27th June 2022 on True ID. Miss Universe Thailand 2022 will be held on 30th July 2022 where Miss Universe Thailand 2021 Anchilee Scott-Kemmis will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
