Miss Turkey 2021 held its grand finale on 8th September 2021 at Fisekhane in Istanbul where Cemrenaz Turhan was crowned Miss Universe Turkey 2021 and became the official representative of Turkey at Miss Universe 2021. She succeeds Miss Universe Turkey 2019 Bilgi Aydogmus.
The 23-year-old stunning beauty hails from Istanbul, Turkey. Turhan was one of the tallest contestants at Miss Turkey 2021. She has studied at Bahçesehir Üniversitesi in Istanbul. While reigning as as Miss Universe Turkey, she is completing her fourth year as an engineering student at Bahçesehir Üniversitesi.
Along with Turhan, Dilara Korkmaz was crowned Miss Turkey 2021/Miss World Turkey 2021 and Sira Sahilli was crowned Miss Supranational Turkey 2021. These divas will be representing Turkey at the upcoming edition of Miss World and Miss Supranational respectively.
If she wins Miss Universe 2021, she will be the international beauty pageant’s first titleholder from Turkey. If she finishes at least in the quarterfinals, she will be the fourth candidate from Turkey to place in the competition following Ayten Akyol who finished in the Top 16 in 1953, Jülide Ates who finished in the Top 10 in 1990 and Çagil Özge Özkul who finished in the Top 16 in 2012.
