Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 is on the road to its finale, with 45 finalists set to compete for the crown and title of Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and the privilege to represent Vietnam in Miss Universe 2018 international beauty pageant. The finale will take place on 6th January 2018 at Crown Center, Diamond Bay in Nha Trang, Vietnam and the reigning queen Loan Nguyen Thi will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event.
Miss Universe Vietnam pageant was last held the year 2015 when Pham Thi Huong was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 and represented Vietnam in Miss Universe 2015. As no pageant was held last year and this year, Le Hang and Loan Nguyen Thi were appointed as the representatives for Vietnam for Miss Universe 2016 and 2017 respectively.
More than 200 candidates were screened prior the 70 semi-finalists for the pageant were announced and the list was further pruned to 45 finalists, who will now compete in the finale.
