Brooke Bruk-Jackson became the official representative of Zimbabwe at Miss Universe 2023 as she was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held at the Harare Hippodrome in Braeside, Harare. 

Zimbabwe is returning to Miss Universe stage after 22-year hiatus. While everyone is happy with her being crowned as the national representative, there are a few people who argue that her selection as the winner of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 is tainted by racial bias.

 

 

Brooke Bruk-Jackson is a Zimbabwean beauty therapist and a model by profession. Brooke went to Chisipite Senior School in Harare, the British Academy of Fashion Design in London, England, United Kingdom and the Beauty Therapy Institute in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.

The Top 12 delegates who also competed for the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 were Prudence Moyo, Audrey Ward, Allyfina Mwanyali, Nokutenda Marumbwa, Amanda Mpofu, Angela Guta, Life Matunzeni, Yamikani Nyenga, Nicole Musiyarira, Noliwe Shand, Stacey Salaman.

Zimbabwe is set to return to the Miss Universe stage after an absence of over two decades. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Universe since the pageant began 71 years ago. Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
