Miss Vietnam 2022, the 18th edition of the Miss Vietnam, was held on 23rd December 2022 at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was crowned the new queen at the end of the event finale. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Vietnam 2020 Ðo Tha Hà. Miss Vietnam has been held biennially since 1988.

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy bested thirty-four contestants to win the national title. Huynh Thu Thanh Thay was born on 1st July 2002 in Da Nang. She is currently studying at The University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies in Da Nang. The newly crowned Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy’s court included –

1st Runner-Up – Trinh Thùy Linh

2nd Runner-Up – Lê Nguyn Ngoc Hung

Top 5 also included Nguyn Ngc Mai, Hoàng Huong Giang while Top 10 also included Ðinh Khánh Hòa, Phom Giáng My, Tran Tha Bé Quyên, Tran Lê Mai Chi and Phan Phuong Oanh.

Top 20 also included Bùi Tho Linh, Nguyn Phuong Anh, Pham Thi Hong Thim, Nguyen Thu Hà, Lê Thanh Trúc, Ðo Tran Ngoc Thao, Nguyun Tha Thanh Tâm, Ha Thi Yun Nhi, Lê Minh Anh (People’s Choice Winner), Tran Nguyen Phuong Thy.

Also at the competition, Nguyen Ngoc Mai was awarded Beauty with a  Purpose award, Phan Phuong Oanh was awarded Beach Beauty award, Nguyen Thi Thanh Tâm was awarded Multimedia award, Tran Lê Mai Chi was awarded Top Model award, Lê Nguyen Ngoc Hong was awarded Talent award, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy won sports award.
