Nevaeh Harmon was crowned Miss West Virginia 2023 at the finale of the state pageant held on 4th June 2023 at the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts in Buckhannon. Nevaeh Harmon will now represent West Virginia at Miss USA 2023 to be held in Reno, Nevada.

Harmon, representing Charleston, is a fourth-year student with a double major in biochemistry and pre-med and a certified pharmacy technician. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss West Virginia USA 2022 Krystian Leonard. The newly crowned Miss West Virginia USA 2023 Nevaeh Harmon’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Tamia Hardy representing Berkeley County

2nd Runner-up – Emma Knapp of Star City

3rd Runner-up – Cassidy Myers representing the West Virginia Strawberry Festival

4th Runner-up – Erin Wellman representing the West Virginia Three Rivers Festival

Also at the finale, Laykn Campbell, representing Parkersburg, was crowned Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2023. Campbell is a freshman at WVU, Campbell who is studying broadcast journalism with a minor in pre-law. Campbell succeeds and was crowned by Miss West Virginia Teen USA 2022 Emma Kitchen of Williamstown. Her court included first runner-up Baylee Jarrett representing Nicholas County, and the second runner-up Kourtney Jones representing the W.Va. Three Rivers Festival.
