Reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna enjoyed a weekend off as she relaxed in the tropical climate of Bali. After her Miss World duties in Jakarta, Mireia, joined by outgoing Miss Indonesia Maria Harfanti, was well looked after with a trip to a luxury spa, a day of water sports adventures, and a lesson in Balinese cooking!
During her visit to Indonesia, Miss World Mireia Lalaguna and second runner up, Maria Harfanti, who was also the Continental Queen of Asia at Miss World 2015, attended a press conference in Indonesia prior to a day before the Miss Indonesia 2016 finale.
Housed in Global TV road Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, the press conference was held on Tuesday, 23rd February 2016. Mireia Lalaguna, along with Liliana Tanoesodibjo, the esteemed chairwoman of the Miss Indonesia; Maria Harfanti, Miss Indonesia 2015 and Steve Douglas, Miss World Organization Stage Director attended various media events.
The debonair event commenced as Miss World 2015, Mireia Lalaguna described her emotions and experiences about her visit to Indonesia. Beauty queen described that this is her first visit to Indonesia. She revealed that when she got to learn about her trip to Indonesia, she was extremely excited that she will now experience the first hand emotions about the beauty that Indonesia beholds.
Mireia added that she was exhilarated to explore the provinces of Bali, also indulging in surfing, Balinese cooking etc.
