Miss Cook Islands Natalia Short won the Sports challenge and became the first finalist to qualify to the Top 20 list. Miss China Jing Kong won the Top Model contest and became the second contestant to enter the Top 20 list. Miss Philippines Catriona Gray became the third semi-finalist by winning the Multimedia Challenge; whereas Bayartsetseg Altangerel is the fourth finalist to have entered the list of Top 20 finalists.
