Last year on 18th December 2016, the world got its queen in the name of Stephanie Del Valle, the Puerto Rican beauty who took the whole world by storm with her charisma and her exemplary personality. She emerged triumphed in each and every responsibility thrown her way and proved to everyone that she’s got it in her in every way possible. This lady was not only humble and polite, but knew her traditions and ethics too well for anyone to ever question her during her reign. If we must say, she handled her reigning period probably more gracefully than the rest.
Yesterday was the completion of one year since last year when she was crowned and though we have a new world queen now, Manushi Chhillar, we don’t think, we can ever forget our kind and gentle queen Stephanie. Being the epitome of humility, she is an inspiration for all the girls in the world.
Now that a whole year has passed, she is overwhelmed with her journey so far. Stephanie wrote an emotional caption on her Instagram which was every bit heart-wrenching.
“Exactly a year ago today, my life changed forever in the best way I could have ever imagined possible: I was given the immense honour to become Miss World 2016. This year has been an incredible journey. I’ve been given the privilege to work with an amazing organization that has become my new family. I’ve been able to work and see firsthand the impact that ‘Beauty With a Purpose’ has on the lives of millions of children all over the world. Every look, every embrace, every smile touched the deepest part of my heart and changed me into a new person full of love and compassion. Today marks a whole year of transformation, everyone who has been with me can tell you. I’ve become a better version of myself thanks to the Miss World Organization, committed to continue with a legacy and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of this journey and to all of you for supporting me every step of the way.

Stephanie’s contribution to society is commendable. She has tried to reach many corners of the world with immense hard-work in order to spread her beliefs that can better the society. During her reign, she has travelled to China, United Kingdom, Indonesia, United States, India, South Africa, Philippines, and numerous trips around the Puerto Rico.
Everyone who loves Stephanie can never forget that golden moment when she was crowned Miss World 2016 wearing a breath-taking pink gown and looking every bit awesome, just way she actually is in her life also. It was a moment of recognition of a not just a pretty face but a beautiful soul.
