Miss World 2016 contest has progressed to another level, and with the arrival of the contestants the contest has officially kicked in. The delegates went through their very first segment of the pageant, the Talent Audition. While the Talent round of the Miss World pageant is not one of the important segments, but it can definitely help the contestants earn some major points in the competition.

The delegates performed the best of their talents in front of the judges and there were many who managed to stand out among all. The total numbers of acts presented were 91; among them were 18 singers, 57 dancers and 16 miscellaneous. The audition was divided into three teams of Red, White and Blue. Performances under the red team that stole hearts were of –

Brazil – Miss Brazil donned a costume representing the blue bird from the Rio Movie.

Cook Island presented a unique combination of dancing and percussion, bringing a bit of her home country to Washington.

Dance, drama, and singing all in one audition, is what was presented by Miss Guyana.

Mongolia’s multiple talents were also witnessed during the audition as she used Fire, Dance, and Magic to fascinate the judges.

Moving on to the white team, Miss Czech Republic decided to bring in her Beauty with a Purpose project advocacy into her act and played a child’s doll in her brilliantly executed dance performance donning a dress designed by children from her country. Miss Nicaragua on the other hand decided to showcase her traditional dance moves.

India under the Blue team performed one of the oldest dances of India. Her performance started in the womb and represented her story as a premature baby. Bringing her culture to Miss World, Mexico performed an Aztec Ritual. Miss Philippines decided to captivate the judges with her soothing voice and sang a classical song “Moon River”.
